You’re surely already familiar with the puzzle game Angry Birds, and if not – go and get it. I just wish they would’ve used a larger font size, because it’s slightly difficult to read some of the text in the game. The game also provides various statistics, so you can follow your own progress. You get a credit for each completed game, and those credits can later be used to unlock a wide range of themes, which completely change the look of Doodle Bowling. A nice element that developer GameResort has incorporated is theme support. It has a realistic physics engine, and features original and quite polished graphics. Still, it’s a great game – particularly if you’re a fan of old-school gaming.ĭoodle Bowling is a surprisingly entertaining and addictive bowling game for Android. I’ve never enjoyed performing difficult jumps in platform games, and Meganoid has a few of those, which can be a bit frustrating. The on-screen controls are excellent, and Meganoid features OpenFeint integration.
Meganoid by OrangePixelĪ retro platform game for Android inspired by classic 8-bit Nintendo titles, with a great chip music soundtrack, cool sound effects and pixelart graphics – what’s not to love about Meganoid? It’s fun, fast and free.

These games can be played on nearly all Android phones, and here are four of them: Meganoid, Doodle Bowling, Stupid Zombies and PewPew. Those games are showcased in Nvidia’s TegraZone app.īut luckily, there are also many games that rely on fun gameplay rather than state-of-the-art graphics. However, the games that feature the most advanced 3D graphics generally require the very latest hardware, such as a dual-core Tegra 2 processor. This makes it quite difficult, but definitely a fun and enjoyable game for anyone that enjoys playing action-packed apps.Android is getting more and more great games for each day that passes. The game ends when you run out of bullets. For example, on the first level you'll fight off the regular zombies with the help of a machine gun. Some of them are quite hard, but not impossible. You can continue to use your keyboard to move your character up through the stages. Unlike most of its peers in the genre, Stupid Zombies on the Android doesn't change how you play the game as you move up through levels. To do that, you need to either shoot your gun or do some other action that will cause the screen to shake. The objective of each level of St Stupid Zombies is simply to eliminate all the enemies.
Once the screen shakes, that means your target has been killed and there's no turning back. Instead of using the keyboard and mouse, you use a gun which you must fire at one man, one zombie, or one group of zombies until the screen shakes to indicate you've hit your target. St Stupid Zombies is actually an arcade game based on the popular arcade game called Angry Birds. It's nice to see something like this coming out on a platform that is targeted mostly at younger audiences.
I don't know if it's because it's on the Android or because it hasn't been designed by anyone who knows what they're doing, but either way, it's just a fun game that doesn't take itself too seriously. It's not a highly polished game but it's not really bad either.
This game is perfect for people who enjoy playing free online flash games and doesn't have anything to do with real guns. If you are looking for a zombie game with some very good objectives, then you won't be disappointed with Stupid Zombies.
